Caiman in the Bay Area: 2017 in Review

One of the things I love about being a consultant in Silicon Valley is the opportunity to teach, learn, and help our clients transform as the business world transforms. 2017 has been an exciting year for our team in the Bay. Our consultants are in the thick of it with brands like eBay, Facebook, and CapitalOne. We’ve had the opportunity to help our clients navigate the ever-evolving world of mobility, distributed commerce, global social media expansion, and the maturation of business culture necessary for success in our ever-changing world.

What’s next in 2018

The outlook for 2018 is bright with clients getting serious about leveraging data systems now fully in place, taking responsibility for the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning on their businesses, linking marketing and distribution channels more closely together, and deepening engagement with customers. What’s even more exciting is the sense of integrity and responsibility our clients have around the implications of distributed commerce, or the impact of social media on the developing world. We’re getting to work on many of these emerging problems, from developing solutions that help our clients monetize their presence across a varied social media landscape, to bolstering the leadership and team capacity needed for innovation to flourish across an entire organization. We find meaning and satisfaction in helping our clients move fast and take advantage of the possibilities of this maturing digital landscape.

What the Caiman team loves the most about our work in the Bay Area is the access to variety, constant change, and the immense growth that can come so quickly working on some of the world’s most visible social tools and media platforms. Our consultants are working side-by-side with our clients, sleeves rolled up, ideas flowing, getting the important work done. They’re moving fast, learning fast, and finding ways to connect and share what they are learning. As a leader of our Caiman Bay Area team, I love helping our consultants connect the dots of knowledge and expertise across engagements to bring even more value to our clients every day.
