F-U-N at the Silicon Valley Spelling Bee
Caiman consultants Nicky Shane, Christina Vijayan, Alicia Cappelli, Paul Serapio, Nathalie Gummerson, and Alina Pottorff with some of the Spelling Bee participants. No, we did not purposely send consultants with tricky-to-spell names.

Last month, several of our Caiman consultants volunteered as judges at the Boys and Girls Club of Silicon Valley's annual Spelling Bee. Many of our employees regularly volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club - it's a great opportunity for us to help empower, mentor, and support youth in a fun and positive environment. We also recognize the high importance of spelling, as a company with an often-misspelled name.

The event was both very fun and very moving for the Caiman team as they encouraged kids to spell out words like "Obliterate" and "Splendid". Our own Nathalie Gummerson said, "We couldn’t help but be swept up in optimism for these kids’ futures. These kids learned the importance of following rules, communicating, and trying even when they wanted to give up. Whether it’s events like the Spelling Bee or STEM Decathlon, these kids are constantly learning. Even with small contributions of our time, we can help encourage and guide kids to be successful throughout school and eventually achieve the great future they all deserve."

We're already looking forward to next year's Bee!
